Dear community,
we need to follow a staggered integration approach for our current SAP IBP project in order to integrate data.
Just some more background on the foreseen procedure:
1. CSV files for MD and TD will be provided on a regular basis as an extract of various non SAP legacy systems to a central accessible repository
2. The files should be picked up by a scheduled job which integrates them in the necessary sequence via IBP's data integration capability (APP data integration jobs)
Therefore I am interested to know if there is any possibility to automate a regular CSV file import directly in SAP IBP w/o usage of CPI-DS? Is there any easy (semi-)automated integration capability available which can be used?
Thanks for your input.
Best regards, Peter

Hi Peter,
If you don't want to use CPI-DS then the only other way is way is to use IBP Data integration App(but this will be be manual), you can get the templates in CSV format downloaded and then put data in there and load.
I would suggest using CPI -DS and implementing scripts to see current days' file is available then only trigger the CPI-DS task/process.
SDI is used to load files as well in a scheduled way with IBP Application jobs without CPI-DS however that is for order based planning.
Let me know if you need more information in this regard.
Thanks,
Nikunj

Hi Nikunj,
thanks for your input. However my question was more related to an automated load of CSV files which get provided by non-SAP legacy applications w/o the necessity of setting up CPI-DS and injecting this particular data during staging in SAP ECC.
Maybe something similar like the file system in SAP ECC which can be used to store data and from where it can be picked up by another process.
Best regards, Peter
