Hello,
i create a forecast model on wk prod loc cust level. Actuals qty are on the same level. But in the app I can only see calwek prod loc cust as planning level, which I can choose.
My first idea was, that the planning level is correct, but this is wrong, I cannot see the planning objects. In other planning areas I can see mor planning levels.
General is the question, when can I choose the planning level in the app IBP Assign Forecast model
Not all planning level of my planning area are visible
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Oliver,
Technical week is a theoretical concept used to aggregate data at month/calendar week level maintaining data consistencies across time levels. In real business scenario, it isn't logical to run forecasting at technical week level. Hence, TW-PROD-LOC-CUST are not available.
If you want to run a model at level for e.g., MTH-PROD FAMILY, create a planning level and stored key figure at that level. Need not maintain any data in that key figure. Please check if you can see this planning level now in assign forecast model app.
Regards,
Piyush
