I tried to open a favorite that I have used in the past and got the error "An error occurred while opening the planning view and you may notice irregularities during use." When I click on OK to close this message, I then get the message "Can't find project or library". If I go in to the VB editor to determine what project/library was missing, when I click on References, nothing shows up.
This has happened before to other favorites/templates and I have not been able to determine the root cause or how to resolve this.

Hello Susan,
Gotcha. You've mentioned that this is happening only on a specific computer and that another end user can open the exact same favorite without issues. Is that correct?
In that case I would advise you to report an incident under the SCM-IBP-XLS-UI component and provide the extended traces for deeper technical analysis:

Hi Susan,
Have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested on below SAP Note already?:
Please give an special attention to the first recommended solution, for which after applied, will make Microsoft Excel recompile the VBA code and frequently fixes similar issues happening to other IBP customers.
Best,
Ivan

Thank you, Ivan, for the quick response.
I had not tried this solution as of yet as it requires administrative permissions which we are not given on our laptops. I will need to work with our desktop support to see if this will resolve the issue.
In the meantime, can you explain why this is happening? The favorite had worked the last time I used it and, in fact, another user had opened it today and had no problem.
Also, is there another way to force Excel to recompile the VBA code?
