I want to integrate storage location in S/4 to OBP.

Hi experts

I want to integrate storage location in S/4 to OBP.

I think I can do it with BADI in S/4 and "Custom Attribute" in OBP.

Is it correct?

Hello darien

If you want to integrate storage location in IBP, you dont need any BADI to activate it. Each storage location can be extended as a MRP area in S4. you need to ensure the follwoing1) activate the use of MRP area (a typical MRP area is location id_storage location) in S42) Extend all the required SKUs to respective MRP areas in S43) in the SDI transaction where we integrate the plants, maintain the plants and generate the model in S44) Run SDI inbound and the MRP areas will be upodated in the location MDT along with LOCPROD MDT.5) each MRP area ( which is basically a storage location will be considerd as a location in IBP and you can do your planning accrodingly.)Hope this helps

→ Would you tell me where can I do in S/4? (what is transaction code about that?)

→Sorry, I didn't understand what to do in S/4. Would you be more specific?

→Sorry, I didn't understand what to do in S/4. Would you be more specific? what i mean is you dont have do any separate inclusion in the SDI tcode. if you CIF a location which has MRP areas in SDI, just inlcuding the plant is enough as all mrp areas will also be ciffed

Were MRP Area(Location ID-Storage Location) and SKUs that were integrated to OBP used for Confirmation Run as DC or Plants?

Yes they can be used for OBP confirmation run as well. But you need to ensure that all sales orders are updated with the respective storage location in ECC/S4. once you start planning at MRP area level all SO / PO needs to be at the storage ;location level, not just at location level.
