I need examples of Integration of SAP EHS Management (GLM) into other SAP Solutions such as EWM

We have a requirement to push data from S4H EWM (when executing RF transactions) to GLM and have the label generated automatically (NOT manually through the workbench) and not printed through EWM (Smartforms) and then print the label automatically on a printer in the warehouse. We have engaged SAP Max Attention and there does not appear to be a solution. Our goal is use GLM for all our labeling requirements and not too have multiple solutions.

GLM has been designed to support external systems to initiate printing via badi and / or RFC.

The recommendation by my colleagues is to leverage the EWM PPF (Post Processing Framework) to initiate Badi or RFC call in GLM.

Customers can create their own scenarios with PRINT REQUEST CREATION customizing with BADI - CBGL_BADI_EHS_GLM_011 and adjust it to needs.

I believe there is as well the option to use ‘pre-delivered’ scenarios and adjust to be called from external. All FMs are RFC enabled. This would however void the option to use these by the standard process.
