I have a business requirement in SAP EWM

 Scenario Recap:

• 1 Outbound Delivery with 4 Line Items (Products).
• Each line item is picked from 4 different storage types.
• The first two products (from one warehouse order) must be picked first and placed in a temporary intermediate storage bin until the second warehouse order is in a locked status.
• Remaining 2 products are then picked and brought to same intermediate storage bin.
• Finally, all products are packed into one HU (Handling Unit).
• HU is then moved to staging area.Could you please guide me on how we can achieve this requirement?

Hi @Shivam_D,

I guess this is normal POSC=> Pick---> Pack---> Stage , for Packing station or intermediate bin determination then please do the below settings for intermidiate/pack station determination for same outbound dellivery/consolidation/customer.

Putaway by Consolidation group: 

• If you specify the storage type or storage section, the storage type must have the storage type role Work center. If you only specify a storage type, this has to have the putaway rule Consolidation Group . EWM checks these settings when you save your details.

Hi Ajit,

Thank you for your assistance. Unfortunately, the issue persists.

Upon releasing the wave, two warehouse orders (WOs) are generated. When I confirm the first WO, the Handling Unit (HU) appears in the intermediate bin. From there, another WO is created to place the product into the staging area. Subsequently, upon confirming the second WO, it also appears in the intermediate bin, triggering the creation of yet another WO to move this HU to the staging area.

What I require is for the picker handling the second WO to also collect the first two products from the intermediate bin, consolidate them into a single HU, and place it directly into the staging area.

Hi @Shivam_D- Seems Something wrong in POSC Design -

Step 1> Picking to Intermediate/Packing ( Nothing but Packing)

Step 2> Intermediate/Packing  to Staging once packing is done and completed the task

Note:- As stated previously, Puaway shluld be happen by consolidation group set up.

Could you please share POSC Config Screen shots...
