HU type determination for destination bin during putaway

Hello, i'm facing an issue in HU type determination during the putaway task

We have a product with 2 level of packspec

-Level 1 (HU type EA01): each

-Level 2 (HU type IL10) : full HU (target qty100EA but min qty of 10EA for auto packing),

Says I have a delivery of 50EA. During unloading, we have autopacking that creates a HU type IL10 because of the 'min qty' parameter in packspec.

Next step is putaway task creation which is product based WT (destination ST HU type type check enabled) . Instead of using IL10 HU type for source/destination bin, it uses EA01 HU type because 50EA falls short of the target qty of 100EA. Seems like the 'min qty' setting for HU creation is not considered during HU type determination for source/destination bin.

Is that normal behavior? It creates an issue because interim levels HU type such as EA01 are not associated with any bin types so bin determination fails.

Hi Marc, if I remember right system is not selecting one PS from many in wt creation. You can create HU WT, or you can implement a BAdi to take over source HU.
