Hi Gurus,
I am trying to run the Best practice scenario-1V9 (Incoming inspection with QI) in a warehouse that was setup almost copying the BP 1710. Changes were made in the new warehouse for client requirements.
But when i execute the same scenario in the new whse, whild trying to "Close the HU" in EWM inspection window, following error is observed
Message no. /SCWM/QUI_WRKST099
I went through the config guides to look for any differences, but couldn't find any.
For some reason, as part fo HU putaway during receipt is not capturing the External process step, which is causing this issue. Can you help in resolving this please.

Here are some configs that i compared and ensured they match with 1710 BP whse setup

Hi Mustapha EL GHOUAT,
If you are using without inspection rule, then use QM Component for the transactions.
Excerpts from below link: You can use quality inspection without inspection rules in the following processes:
If you are using with inspection rule, then use EWM-QM Component for the transactions.

Hello Raghava,
Have you resolved the issue,I had the same issue, when my putaway process involved QI as an external Step, QIS. When you perform the GR of HU relevant for QI either at Door or at staging area, stock type changes to Q3. Now, if you move stock to QI work centre, you will be able to perform the Usage decision at QI work centre, however, the external Step QIS is not wired to HU, it is blank. So, thats the error.
If you dont do GR at staging area and directly move the HU by creating WT( Implicit GR) to the Quality work center, QIS gets wired to Handling unit. I did this testing today.

Hello Raghava,
Which version you are working into ? If below 1909, Inspection rule is mandatory to carry “QIS” as external step.
