How to trigger a job based on CIF clearing

Hi,

We run SNP heuristics which creates new orders every night. The old order (deletion) and the new order both go to ECC and update there. The new order number flows back to APO and updates the internal order number. After this is done, we run MRP in ECC.

In case we have delay in CIF queue updation, MRP runs before the old order number is deleted we get old orders which have to be deleted in ECC, pushed to APO as PPDS orders.

We want to trigger MRP based on when the CEPL* queues are cleared in the APO smq1 after heuristics is over.. sometimes it's possible to have failed queues as well.. so want to skip that as well.. is there an easy way to handle the trigger for this? I guess we could have a track on how many entries are the in the CIF tables.. but a cleaner method?

Regards

Hello,

You can schedule the MRP job after 2/3 hrs later the heuristic job finish in APO.

During that time all CIF queues will be processed expect the failed one.

If CIF queues does not finished with in 2-3 Hrs, then you have some serious issue with CIF processing. Please consult your Basis team.
