Hello Expert,
Need your expert advice on this query which i am facing right now in my current business scenario.
In ECC, they are using VC scenario for there MRP run using Super BOM and Super Routing ( Without Production version). Now they are planning to have detailed scheduling for those planned /Production orders in SAP APO PPDS. I am facing challenge in generating PDS, since they only have Super BOM and Super routing and no production version in ECC Master data.
In case if any one came across this master data transfer issue without Production version by using Super Routing how to generate PDS in SAP APO.
Thanks for your support.
Thanks
Chandra

Hello,
To transfer the routing and BOM it is mandatory to have production version to CIF it to APO.
What is issue for creation of production version here?

Hello Brahmankar,
Thanks for your reply.
They are using Super BOM and Super Routing to generate Planned order in ECC without Production version. Now Business is not ready to change there existing design by creating production version.
Is there any way (Custom) to pull Super Routing directly from ECC to generate PDS in APO, similar to only BOM transfer from ECC To APO to generate PDS.
Thanks
Chandra
Hello,
Production version is combination of routing and BOM so process point of view there would not be any change.
I dont think it would change the existing design too. You need to convince you client on it. You can test this very well in quality system.
Also suggest them without production version generation of PDS in APO is not possible in standard SAP.
Apart from that in S4 HANA production version is mandatory, down the line you need to have production version.
So better do that right now..
