how to transfer DP forecast to ECC / SNP?

Hi,

assuming i want to use SNP  and ECC, what is the best way to transfer the forecast from DP?

should i transfer the forecast to SNP (which has different consumption methods) and than transfer the forecast to ECC by CIF?

Or should i transfer the forecast to ECC, and than transfer the forecast to SNP by CIF?

Or should i transfer the forecast to ECC and SNP directly from DP?

what are the main differences between these methods?

Yossi,

In general, the only time you would release a DP forecast to ECC is when planning is being done in ECC.

My comments were directed toward standard solutions.

First tell me how you would implement a solution that plans in ECC but also implements SNP?  Do you not set your material masters to "X0"?

currently i am planning only in ECC, but I want to check in parallel the data in SNP, to check if we will move the planning in the future to SNP how it will be.

Yossi,

You didn't answer my question.  However, no matter.  Since you are planning in ECC, then SNP is irrelevant.  Release your forecast only to ECC.
