How to track a freight order in GTT without using dock scheduling and gatehouse operations?

Hi,

Can we track a Freight order in GTT without having a licence plate entered either in dock scheduling or at gate house operations? 

Context: We are thinking of turning off LBN dock appointments/gatehouse operations app but still would continue to use GTT, therefore need to understand if there are any impacts?

Hi Sid,

You can still get license plate number from freight orders for confirmation app in Cartier tenant . This can be then shared to GTT . 

If you would like to track your shipments purely without license plate number , then the carriers should be onboarded to your visibility provider via API.  Please check with your visibility provider for the same . Usually, only large scale carriers have such API connections.
