How to settle with additional agreement Parties in Freight settlement

Hi All,

Could you please provide more details of implementation and configuration details how to settle additional agreement parties when we have more agreement parties in the Freight order or Freight booking document.

As per our scenario, we have ocean (Vessel) transportation scenario where we have main ocean carrier and other service providers who are part of additional services to provide during ocean transportation (like insurance, customs, port loading etc.). now the requirement is when we settle the freight with main ocean carrier, we would need to settle for additional agreement parties as well along with ocean carrier. in this case we would need to create multiple FSDs for each agreement party to settle the freight with Ocean carrier and multiple service providers.

Hi,

You may have to use partner determination to determine the other additional parties based on your ocean carrier.

Additional agreement party has a downside if you are calculating charges in your freight document at stage level (calculation profile set to stage level). The system calculates charges for all the parties at header level and ignores your calculation profile setting.

Additional Agreement Parties can be populated on the Freight Booking's Business Partner tab either manually or using business partner determination.

Once these are added, you can calculate charges and see calc sheets for the additional parties in the Charge Hierarchy. When triggering freight settlement document creation via the UI, you will be prompted to select which BP(s) you'd like to settle.

Could you please tell me how to achieve this automatically determine the additional agreement parties in Freight booking document with respect to main ocean carrier, I mean to say the assignment of carrier BP (ocean carrier) to service providers BPs automatically in Freight booking document. so that when we have ocean carrier is being selected in Freight booking document.

We have a main Ocean liner (carrier) named DSV, and there are 3 additional service providers who will take of customs clearance, port services, crane services etc. SP1, SP2 and SP3

So, when I created the Freight booking document with Ocean carrier assigned in FB document then we would like to determine the 3 additional service providers determined automatically in the business partner tab based on my ocean carrier Freight agreement.

I have created Freight Agreements and calculation sheets and rate tables for DSV (Ocean carrier), FA_DSV, CS_DSV, RT_DSV

I have created 3 different Freight Agreements for 3 service providers, FA_SP1, FA_SP2, FA_SP3 and CS_SP1, CS_SP2, CS_SP3 and RT_SP1, RT_SP2 and RT_SP3.

Now how to assign the Freight agreements of additional service providers to the Ocean carrier Freight Agreement (FA_DSV) to ensure that additional agreement parties will be determined automatically in Freight booking (FB) document when the Ocean carrier is assigned in the Freight booking document.

Please help.
