How to set SetupAcivity in PP/DS for PDS

Hi, does anyone know where to set the setup activity indicator in the PDS (Screenshot) I can’t find an option to do this in either S4 part or the PP/DS part. In the Operation I could only set the setup group. 44ae5825-d2d9-40d5-b3a7-696b7dcd14e6.jpeg

Hi Daniel,

I was not able to open the link of steps provided. However I suppose you are trying to use the transaction /sapapo/curto_edit to edit the PDS. Please note there are very very few fields that can be edited/updated using this transaction. You cannot edit or change the setup activity using this transaction.

On the S4 side I hope your work center has a setup activity and a relevant formula associated with it and the formula is scheduling relevant. Once done, make sure you populate a value for the setup activity which is part of the operation in the relevant routing.

Use the transaction curtoadv_create to generate the PDS. It should have then setup activity populated in the PDS .

Please check and let us know if you succeed, else please provide screen shots of routing/operation and work centres on the S4 side.

thank you exactly so the problem was that in the work center the formula was not maintained! 🙂 After I maintained that and transported it again, it worked.

Hello,

PDS transfer can only detect that it is a Setup Activity if the matrix has been assigned to the Resource

Please check the Setup Matrix has been assigned in /SAPAPO/RES01 to the Resource

Then do an initial transfer of the PDS via CURTO_CREATE and check the PDS data.

This is how it wrorks in APO not sure about S4 PPDS.

Hi guys, I ran into such a problem in S/4HANA cloud, formula is in resource, set value is in work sheet operation, setup matrix is tied to resource, but there is no setup indicator in the PDS and setup time from matrix is not pulled up, someone knows what is the matter ?

Have you entered a value for the set-up time in the routing? Otherwise store 1 second - the value should then be overwritten.
