How to Seperate Production Entry Storage Location and Consumption Storage Location

Dear All,

I would like to know How two different warehouse- Consumption Storage Location and Production Storage Location could assign for same Part in S4HANA?

EX.

PART A - Production area PSWH - Production Storage location maintain in MRP2 is PSWH.

This part is consumed in Part B, Which is Produced in PTWH.- Here Production Storage location for Part B is PTWH , Here i need to change Production storage location of Part A from PSWH to PTWH to follow production entries. ( BOM Componenet Consuption purpose)

Part B is now get assembled in Final Part C in Assembly area, Here for Part C - Production storage location is ASWH--- Here also i need to change production storage location of Part B from PTWH to ASWH to follow production entries. ( BOM Componenet Consuption purpose)

Same cases for Scrap Codes which generated in Two shops...

Such Change of Storage location activity i need to do for every production entry for many items which are common in two storage location Production storage and Consumption ..

Is there any way to keep Production storage location and consumption storge location seperately.

Hello,

In the BOM you can maintain the storage locations for consumption for the components. This is also transferred to PDS and used in PP/DS.
