How to select predefined objects e.g. Contact as “Reference Object” in the text field in Smartform?

Hi All,

Is it possible to select predefined objects like Contact as “Reference Object”? Currently, currently in the select property dropdown of Predefined text (text input field) has only objects Activity, Service Call, Equipment, Business Partner.

We have the requirement to prefill a text field in a checklist with the email address of a contact associated with an activity.

Could you please assist me how to do that?

Hello,

It is possible to select predefined objects as “Reference Object” as Contact via object picker you defined in the template:

1. Create or edit any existing template
2. Add Picker object and edit it
3. From the object list, select the picker (e.g. Contact)
4. Select the property you want to see populated in this text-input
5. Result: Now when one makes a selection in the referenced picker, the attribute value of the selected object will be populated to the text-input
