How to Sale Product Scrap in Sap BYD.

Hello All,

I want to know if our FG/SFG product damage during Production cycle how to convert it Scrap and then what is the procedure for sale it as scrap in SAPBYD.

Ex. I have a FG product 'A' price of 400 Rs. Each which was damage while packing on line , Now i want to sale it as Iron-Scrap price of 60Rs kg.

Please guide how to sale it .

Hello Ankit,

when you complete the production, if the product is damaged then you can receive the same in the inventory with the Restricted flag (this will allow the damaged products not to be sold in sales order).
you would then need to perform change of stock ( if the Output product from production is different from scrap Item that you are selling) and convert the restricted stock to scrap product
Use the scrap product in the sales order to sell or use the output product in the sales order ( with restricted flag)

Note that this woould generate finacial postings based on the valuations of the products, so make sure to test the process in test system first.

Dear customer,

I have consulted with our CRM expert and confirmed that the system does not support this feature. If a certain quantity of a product has been scrapped, it will no longer be available in stock and cannot be sold.
