Hi Experts,
The SAP recommendation is to have a single currency planning object at a base planning level. When we set up our initial model we were not aware of this recommendation and as a result we have hit a couple of issues with how our data aggregates to higher levels.
I am now trying to correct this using the realignment process to merge currency records, however when realigning values no currency conversion takes place so I move 100 USD to CNY and I get 100 CNY.
I am considering using CIDS to manually merge the records but in an ideal world the realignment would allow this. (We previously had a similar issue with UOM's which was handled via copy operators but that solution is not appropriate in this case)
Is there a way to have the currency conversion applied during a realignment or are there other options available to me?
Thanks.
Jez
