how to restrict serial numbers at plant level in ewm

Hi All,

Our requirement is, two plants are linked to one EWM warehouse(MNCH). Material ABCD123 is available in two plants (1000 and 2000) with different serial numbers in the warehouse. Delivery is created for 1000 plant. Expectation is, while picking user scans the serial numbers and system should allow to pick serial number belongs to 1000 plant only but not 2000. Now it is allowing to pick the serial numbers from both the plant. How to restrict the serial numbers to pick only from that particular plant.

Please suggest.

Use stock based serialization (type C). The stock has the entitled (business partner of the plant) in its business key. The serial numbers are assigned to the stock. During picking you can only choose serial numbers for this stock, so it is definitely the correct plant.
