Hi experts,
If I want to reduce the number of key figures from the key figure list for an end user by creating or editing a planning view, are only the business roles decisive in determining which key figures (except for helper and generated key figures) should be visible in the Excel UI? It doesn't matter if the key figure is selectable or not (grey out).
If I want to hide/remove a key figure from the key figure list for end users, should I remove it from the business role assigned to them or is there any way with permission filter to hide/remove a key figure from the key figures list in Excel UI?
Best Regards
I suggest to use the roles, as here you define if a user can read or write the key figure, or even not see it, independent of the attribute value (such as location or customer or country).
In the permission filter, you can additionally define for which key figure a user shall have read or write rights for a specific attribute value
