Hi Team,
How can we prevent the 2 different Hazard rated products on the same pickHU/HU / Pallet in picking process.
For ex: I have explosive product and Acid related Product , so which are not compatible together for handling picking in the warehouse.
So how can we do this in EWM, Kindly give your inputs.
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Allenki

Hi Allenki,
Adding to Juergen, I guess you can try this way also, If you have 2 or moe different Hazard rated products ,it quite store in different bins, so design activity Area ( logical grouping ) based on your Hazard rated for Picking ,so that you can get different tasks and orders for picking according those particular haz products. For better optimize ,Use WOCR rule.
Please let us know if you got different approach.
Thanks,
Ajit

Hi,
In addition to above replies, Hazardous substance check can be controlled at storage type & storage section's. If you want keep the products separately maintain activity area at storage type level 'or' bins are from a separate storage section.
If you want control the picking of these products use enhancement '
/SCTM/EX_RG_EHSDG_BADI_01 ' .

Hi,
not sure if you can really "prevent" something like this from happening without any further development.
But I suppose you should add the haz mat rating field or fields in the field catalogue for the packaging specification determination. This way you can determine two pick HUs to be created. And to avoid that both materials get picked together, you limit the WO to one HU only. That would be the simplest way.
