How to obtain Packing Time Stamp on Outbound Delivery Status DPC in SAP EWM

Hi

I am currently using SAP EWM module on SAP S/4 HANA Release 1809, and we observe that in the Monitor, when we click on Outbound Delivery,on the Status tab all statuses are displayed like Time Stamp of picking completed, time stamp of Good Issue , excpet Pack Time DPC , how can I obtain Pack time DPC Stamp in a simplest way.

The meaning of pack time should be when all the products in the outbound delivery positions are packed in a Shipping HU and packing of all products is completed.

Thank you.

Hi @SAP_Talks ,

My Point of View-This is not a straight answer, however you can see the below way in monitor to find the date/time as alternative way...

Thanks Ajit. Is there any way to pick this time stamp and place it at the Packing Status DPC ? and also is it possible to show Packing status as "completed" if the Pack HU is created

Hi @SAP_Talks, Is there any way to pick this time stamp and place it at the Packing Status DPC ? -> Unfortunately Status DPC is transient ( values fill during runtime).

"and also is it possible to show Packing status as "completed" if the Pack HU is created" -> It depends with your business processes, if you are using posc and pack step as completion where you can fetch info from that "HU created and completely packed" however if you have 2 layer packing example building carton (1 level Packing) then building Pallet ( 2 nd Level Packing)... depends on business processes.

In my opinion if your business is looking for details with full of information related for precise reporting, go for additional fields and fill values with enhancement in monitor rather than enhancement with Status DPC.

Kind Regards,

Ajit
