How to integrate a custom made software/program with SAP?

Hi There,

My company uses SAP to maintain daily purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, issue notes, work order etc. I want to build a custom program/software that will pull dump data from our SAP on a regular basis and visualize them via power bi. Is that possible or what is your thought?
