How to Include Sales orders and STOs as part of the Demand forecast in SNC

Hi Friends,

Business wants to be able to include backorders and open future orders (Sales orders and Stock Replenishment orders) as part of the Demand forecast in SNC, this firm demand should “consume” the forecasted qty in the same week, so that we can have the total remaining forecasted demand plus the “firm” demand for parts under SMI visible to the supplier in SNC in the demand line. Please share how to setup in SNC end.

Example :

Planning System 5 5 5

Firm Order in ECC 0 4 10

PIR 5 1 0

Demand in SNC 5 5 10

Week 1 – forecast from planning system = 5, with no firm orders in SAP -> so result in SNC should show 5 as the forecast. •

Week 2 – Firm orders (4) < Forecast (5) -> so in SAP we would expect to see 4 “firm orders” and 5-4 = 1 remaining forecast for Week 2 -> in SNC the Demand forecast should be 5 for week 2.

•Week 3 – Firm orders (10) > Forecast (5) -> so in SAP we would expect to see the 10 “firm orders” and no more Forecast for that week-> in SNC the demand forecast should be 10 for week 3.
