How to get number of work days in a technical week in TS PA?

Hi all,

Does IBP has a straight-forward way of calculating the # of working days (or at leat weekdays) in a Time Series planning area?

Example for December 2020

-TW49a - 1 (Monday)

-TW48b - 4 (Tuesday to Friday)

My workaround would be to make the user maintain a dummy KF with the amount of working days per technical week bucket, which is obviously not a desirable solution.

Please let me know if any workaround might be implemented to automate this needed values.

Hi,

1) You can go for IBP_CALENDAR function in key figure definition (calculation level). This gives you information about working days and non-working days.

The working day will be denoted with value "1" and the non-working day will be denoted with value "0".

2) Later aggregate the above key figure values to Tech week level.
