Hello SAP Gurus,
I am faced with a challenge in context of Kanban managed materials in a an EWM managed storage location.
The requirement is that by triggering the KANBAN signals, system should create the Purchase Orders. However, for this to work, (I think) the material needs to be excluded from the MRP Run (?). Is it correct? What all settings are required for this? I tried with MRP type ND, but it did not help. Some blogs say I should mark MRP Indicator in MRP4 view of the material with "1", but S4 HANA does not even have this field anymore in MRP4 view. It has been removed. So, no matter what I tried, I could not manage to get the replenishment strategy for PO creation in the Control Cycle for this material. I always get only 2 options, 0006 and 0007 for external procurement.
As I could not get this to work, as a work around, I also tried if it is possible to somehow mark the Kanban as 'empty' to get a demand created, and that the next MRP run creates a Purchase Request for this material.
But this also never worked for me.
Is it something achievable? If yes, could you please share some pointers how?
Thanks
