How to customize queue name SMQ2 in EWM

Hi,

What is the rule of the system to assign the queue name in SMQ2?

For example, when i do /SCWM/ADGI, a queue in SMQ2 is created with the name EWMMEWMGOODSMVT_0005_89.

It seems that _0005_ match with my warehouse number. But I would like to change that rule or criteria. Perhaps with the material or any other info...

Is it possible? any badi?

Hi, it is possible ( almost everything is ), but would be better to keep it as it is.

Just wonderign, what would you do when you would have two material numbers in one queue?

Anyway that was an example. Maybe I will give any other criteria.

there is no easy way to do it (or I do not know it), you can try to do it with LIME Badi-s or with enhancement / modification in the communication part, hard to say directly. Since I never did it, I cannot give better hint without checking in the system.

Warehouse task (89 in your example) is a good reference as well, you can find all you need in EWM with one search by the task.

The warehouse tasks created by /SCWM/ADGI have these numbers:

What is the rule for the creation of the queue name?Thanks in advance.
