How to create the Picking WT via PPF based on the Planned delivery date?

We would like to explore the possibility of configuring Warehouse Task creation based on the Planned Delivery Date instead of the current logic.

This adjustment would help align the picking list generated from condition records more closely with actual delivery planning, improving both operational efficiency and planning accuracy. Could you please advise on how this can be implemented within the existing system framework?

In standard SAP EWM, warehouse task creation is typically based on delivery creation or the actual goods issue date. However, triggering tasks based on the Planned Delivery Date is not standard and would require a custom enhancement.

One option is to implement a custom BADI or background job that monitors deliveries with planned dates and triggers task creation accordingly. This ensures alignment between picking list generation and delivery planning.
