Dear Experts.

Maybe somebody have detailed guide with pictures how to create BI Source system in RSA1?

I am trying to create connection from system DA1 to QA1 as in picture 1.

(I already have one from DA1 to PA1, but person who had created it is already left our company)

And after i see picture 2

Log on with my data picture 3

and see picture 4

after i see picture 5 ,appear in system QA1

What should i do after? If choose save - nothing happens.

connection test shows picture 6

if i choose "back" (green arrow) it appears with a message

"RFC user logon failed. Check connection DA1CLNT100"

And after with a message

RFC destination BW could not be created in the source system

Please help if someone know how to handle

B R Ivan

Hi Ivan

1. Your BI system new or exiting one?

2. Check this SAP note 2396280

Hi Sriram,

1) BI system exists near 5 years i think

2) I checked and all settings seems to be ok

My problem is standard "Creating SAP Source Systems" guide doesn`t give me some comprehension to create it. Because i have not enough experience and it contains only text.

hi aeca33b937b8453b8b9645935bc85586

always perform an authorization test and not only connection test

Solution is to change the rfc DA1CLNT100 in QA1 and add a user (and password) having enough authorizations (perhaps ALEREMOTE with SAP_ALL SAP_NEW or similars)

cheers!A

Hi Amo.

Thank you for your recommendation it helps to clear situation but not at all.

Do you know, maybe there is some SAP official detailed step by step book regarding this issue?

Hi Expert`s

Thank you everyone for your collaboration, it`s really valuable.

Now issue is solved, the reason was that reverse RFC connection was not established.
