How to create a new embedded EWM warehouse in a running system. With best practices?

Hi,

I have to create a new EWM warehouse in a running system were already exists the structures of IM warehouses. So they have IM warehouses but not EWM. They want to connect an embedded EWM warehouse to the existings IM warehouses. They want to start with the EWM standard process.

The system is S4 2023 on premise. I'm not sure if I can activate the EWM best practices or if i have to activate the BC sets. I don't understand what really give to me the best practices. I have entered in /N/SMB/BBI but I don't know if the best practices give to me a guide with all the steps to configure it or automatically /N/SMB/BBI performs all the configuration.

I have followed that guide:

But the step of activate is not very clear and I get some errrors. Anyway, what is the result? It creates a new warehouse number with all the processes actives that I must to copy to my new warehouse number?

I have read a lot of links about it and sometimes recomends to apply best practices and other times to apply BC sets.
