Hi,
We are working on an implementation of supply planning in SAP IBP4.0.
I need to copy Key figure DependentDemandAtPlant@ProductShipFromLocation to DependentDemand@ProductLocation
Here ShipFromLocation is a reference master data type that refers to Location master data. Even though both are the same master data I get the error that 'There is a mismatch in the input and output planning levels'.
Kindly suggest a workaround and also please elaborate on the use of reference master data type.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Prabha,
DependentDemandAtPlant@ProductShipFromLocation is the upstream demand which flows from one location to another based on sourcing quota (lets say DC ->Plant). DependentDemand@ProductLocation is the sum of all incoming demand at a particular location either it be DC or Plant. Both these key figure have different planning level and hence different set of attributes and supply planning algorithm will generate value for these KF. I don't think there is a need to copy them.
Also note that DC and plant are modeled as location in IBP, so you need to define a reference master data 'Ship-From' so that you can establish a relation between them in location source MDT.
Thanks,
Rohit
