How to Calculate Average Delivery Lead Time by Planning Group Correctly in SAP ByDesign?

Hi SAP Community,

I’m trying to calculate Delivery Lead Time by Supplier and Planning Group in SAP ByDesign.

Here’s the approach I’ve taken:

1. I used the "Ordering Date" from the Purchase Order Item Details and "Actual Delivery Date" from the Inbound Delivery Document - Item Details.
2. I created a "Delivery Lead Time" Key Figure with the formula:
   [Actual Delivery Date] - [Ordering Date]
   The result is correct.

 

Next, I wanted to calculate the average Delivery Lead Time by Planning Group. To achieve this:

1. I created a Key Figure "Avg LT Planning Group" with the following properties:

Exception Aggregation
Aggregation Type: Average
Characteristic: Planning Group ID

However, the results seem to be incorrect because the Aggregation Type for "Ordering Date" and "Actual Delivery Date" is set to Maximum by default. When I remove fields like Purchase Order ID, Purchase Order Item, and Product, the system calculates Avg LT Planning Group using the Maximum values of Ordering Date and Actual Delivery Date, which results in incorrect values. The expected correct result is shown in the third image.

 

 

My Question: What adjustments or Key Figure settings do I need to apply to ensure that the average Delivery Lead Time by Planning Group is calculated correctly, without using the Maximum Aggregation for the dates?
