How to assign multiple batches to one SFC in discrete industry

Dear Experts,

I would like to know how to achieve the relation among Order, SFC, and Batch below.

I've heard that :
1. One order can be executed with several batches (0..m).
2. One batch can be produced via several SFCs (0..n).
3. One SFC can lead to several batches (0..m).
4. Batches can be used across orders also

I'm not sure how to achieve each cases in DM.

Best regards,
Koichi Okamoto

Hi Koichi,

The following Order, Batch, SFC relationship can only be achieved in Order POD at the moment, see Executing Discrete Production Orders in Order POD within SAP Digital Manufacturing to learn how you can execute discrete production orders in Order POD.

Work Center / Operation Activity PODs will always report Goods Receipt to the planned batch in the production order header, at the moment.

Hope it helps! Br,
Manoel

Hi Manoel, Thank you for your reply. The diagram is exactly what I saw. And I understand the flow of process in Order POD from your post. However, where is connection among orders, sfcs and batches retained? Best regards, Koichi Okamoto
