Hello everyone,

we use QM with EWM together. So to free the goods you have to accept the inspection lot. Afterwards you also have tp accept the inspection document in EWM. Is there a possiblity to combine those two steps so the inspection document in EWM is accepted once the inspection lot in ERP is accepted?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

when connecting the QIE with QM - the QIE creates an inspection document, which triggers the creation of the inspection lot in QM. The inspection lot is processed - and this in turn triggers the follow up action in the inspection document (see here: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_ON-PREMISE/9832125c23154a179bfa1784cdc9577a/c7b7f650fe946766e10.... At least that is the standard integration.

What have you build?

All the above is no official SAP statement.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!

And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hi,

the problem is, that right at GR the WT are created. So thats why there is no available stock whenthe system tries to change the stock type. So now we have an Entry in the Queue. When we cancel the WT before accepting the inspection lot the change of stock types works. Only the follow up action (Put in final destionation bin) doesn't work as there is no open WT. At least thats what I think the problem is. We probably have to switch of the PPF to make it work.

To accept the EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) inspection document with the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) inspection lot, you can follow the below steps:

  1. In your ERP system, create an inspection lot for the material that needs to be inspected.

  2. Perform the inspection in EWM, using the inspection document created for the lot. You can do this by creating a transfer order in EWM, which will trigger the creation of an inspection document.

  3. Once the inspection is completed in EWM, the inspection results will be recorded in the inspection document.

  4. The inspection lot in ERP will be automatically updated with the inspection results recorded in the inspection document in EWM.

  5. If the inspection results are within the specified tolerances, you can then accept the inspection lot in ERP.

  6. To accept the inspection lot in ERP, go to the inspection lot transaction in the SAP system, and choose the 'Results Recording' tab.

  7. Enter the results recorded in the EWM inspection document, and choose the 'Usage Decision' tab.

  8. Make a usage decision for the inspection lot, either 'Accepted' or 'Rejected', based on the inspection results.

  9. If the inspection lot is accepted, the material can be released for further processing. If the inspection lot is rejected, the material should be quarantined or scrapped.

By following these steps, you can accept the EWM inspection document with the ERP inspection lot and ensure that the material is properly inspected and processed.
