How system calculate the delivery date based on.

Hello APO experts,

I am SD consultant and very well aware of ATP but new to GATP ATP.I have gone through a couple of threads on GATP and could not find the answer.

My question is how the system will calculate delivery date when the products are available only after 6 months if we have GATP integration with SD.

What is the check points in GATP and how system calculate the delivery date based on?

I am aware of ATP in SD like the system will check all the dates like Material Availability Date, Pick/pack time, Transportation Planning date, Loading date, Goods issue date, Transit Date, Delivery Date.

Kindly let me know if have missed out any point.

Thanks a lot for the link.

I have gone through many  documents on GATP like Satish Waghmare and couple of more but did not get the clear picture on a delivery  date like we have in SD.Hence asked the question.
