how process controller framework service assigned to a business object?

Hi All expert,

I am new to SAP Transportation management. Regarding process controller framework, i saw strategy and its method can be linked with a service. But I did not find in customizing there is a place to link a service to a business object. May u know how this service get called during a TM business object handling?

Hello Frank,

in standard process controller strategies can be assigned in customizing, e.g. to Freight Unit types or Freight Order types. These strategies will be called by standard coding.

You also can create custom coding to call process controller strategies.

An assignment of a service to a BO is not required.

I strongly recommend to have a look at chapter 4.2 of the Enhancement Guide for SAP Transportation Management.
