how is the time granuralirty of lead time defined?

Hi experts,

Reading the SAP document(URL), I would like to check if my understanding of lead time is correct or not.

Regarding the sentence "The latter use the time granularity from the time profile level defined in the S&OP Operator Profiles app", if the time profile level is set as "Week" just like my SOP operator, does it mean Technical Week or Calendar week? I assume it depends on base planning level of KF which heuristic takes into calculation. For instance, if there are KFs, whose base planning level is technical week, the time granularity of Heuristic would be technical week. Am I right?

yes leadtime is always considered on a per period basis. If you control the period using S&OP operator profile and select month then the leadtime no is considered as months. If you dont select that in the S&OP operator then the system looks in to the base planning level of the KF and take that into consideration, which in most of the cases will be weeks. Also rememeber 1 thing that system never considers leadtime in technical weeks, irrespective of the fact that the base PL of the KF is TWK or not. If TWK then it consider leadtime as CWK.
