How I can exclude a category order in SAPAPO/RRP3

Hi experts,

In transacción /SAPAPO/RRP3 how I can exclude a order category (Z) that was defined but I don´t want that this type of order appear in RRP3 or if is not possible to disappear this order then it doesn't affect the available stock

Can you tell me how I can get it?

Hi Arnulfo,

To filter the Z-category from display, you can use a Selection Rule for the Product View (do read this SAP Help it for details).

Example:

1) In SPRO, open customizing below:

SAP - Implementation Guide -> Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Supply Chain Planning -> Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) -> Order View -> Define Selection Rules for Product View

2) Create a new Selection Rule

-

3) In Excluded Categories folder, specify the Z-category, then save

-

4) At the Product View, set the flag Selection Rule Active and choose the rule you created

-

5) Inside the Product View, check that receipts with that category are not shown

-

6) Set Selection Rule to blank (no rule selected) and check that the I/O nodes reappear

Alternatively, if the Z-category is not relevant for planning at all, you need to make sure the I/O nodes under that category are not pegging relevant, otherwise they will still be considered by the heuristic.
