How does /IBP/ECC_INT_PDS works with delta and intial transfer mode?

I need information on PDS integration transaction code.

How this will effect on tables?

Can anyone have any detailed document /information about this?

We can not find detailed information help portal as well on this.

Apart for the model config guide I am not aware of any other detailed documents that are available. this tables are primarily used for integrating external master data from execution system to IBP for OBP module. Also this same tables can be utilized for integrating time series MDT and KF using CPIDS.

PDS integration using SDI addon is a standard process thru which you can transfer PDS from ECC/ S4HANA to the IBP system. If you have the addon installed in your execution system check the below path

Logistics >> Central functions >> Supply Chain planning interface >>Integrated Business planning

Under this you will find sub menus like Integration of master data and Integration of transactional data. inside the menu Integration of master data you will ge the tcode /IBP/ECC_INT_PDS (integrate production data structures to IBP). this tcode will take care off both your intial as well as change transfer for PDS from ECC to IBP. you will have option to check or uncheck change transfer for PDS in the same screen itself.

The way SDI works is once you execute any integration model be it for material, location or PDS thier are standard staging tables (that are enabled in the execution system once you install the SDI addon) where the values are updated. then once you execute the SDI inbound job from IBP the values from this tables are fetched and updated in IBP as external master data.

The above 2 tables that you mentioned are part of the standard staging table for SDI and yes they are related to PDS. But their are other staging tables as well that are used for PDS integration from ECC/S4HANA to IBP.

Infact this staging tables can be leveraged for integrating time series MDTs and transaction data thru CPIDS where this staging tables are used as source by CPIDS to update respecttive MDTs or KF in IBP.
