How can we Pick full qty HU during Staging to production with Splitting HU

During Staging to production the qty required is 500kg, Full HU qty is 1000kg, now to stage the HU system is asking to split the 1000kg and create a new HU with 500KG and to stage this. However physically it is not feasible to split the HU.

How can we achieve the above? Is there an exception code that will allow the user to stage full pallet qty regardless of the outstanding stage qty without splitting.

The production order requires 500KG, so the system will let you pick a partial of the selected HU. to achieve your requirement there are two directions:

1. create an exception code that allows to add additional qty to the task during execution

2. allow "overdelivery" during task creation for staging to round up to HU qty

Be aware in direction 1 that other open tasks for this HU do not influence the process. In option 2 check the settings for available qty level.
