HL item delivery date considered while Sales order creation after Location substitution

Hello,

Suppose we are creating a sales order for a particular material for which by default QW6 location is checked in APO;

But, the material is not available at this location so an APO check substitutes this with another location say QE7

so here two items are displayed 10 and 20:

Item Material HL Item Location Delivery Date

10 abc QW6 5 Jan 2019

20 abc 10 QE7 5 Jan 2019

30 abc QE7 4 Jan 2019

But if we add one more item with explicitly specifying location QE7 then the delivery date is one day lesser (like line item 30 above)

we need to have the delivery date for line item 20 same as line item 30.

The ATP check does not consider the details of this substitution (item 20 ) but considers the details of HL item -10 and assigns this delivery date to both the items 10 and 20 .

And i guess that this logic is standard where lower level item delivery date is not taken into consideration.

Is there any way where we can get and assign delivery date of item 20 instead of 10 ?

Set Delivery Group as "X" to your item category and re-test the process.

We checked but that is related to BOM/Configuration which is not used in our case.

In our case the location is determined via ATP check from SCM g-ATP system

and if the material is not available at the default location then the system finds another location

and populates a new line item with this newly determined location but with the Delivery date of the default location.

We need the delivery date of the new location.

Please suggest something for this.
