Hide Blank Column in planning view

Hi,

In the previous versions till 2002 the sheet option to hide blank columns in the planning view was available. But i cant find it in the latest 2005 version. Has it been disabled? How can you hide blank columns in the planning view?

Hi Akshata,

I can't recall such "Hide Blank Column" option in the older add-in versions...can you please share a screenshot of the older available option? And did it use to work properly?

Hi Ivan,

Please find the screenshot below from the 1911 version. And yes, it would help in hiding the columns that had no values.

anna.linden May you please comment on that former Hide Empty Column option: Did it use to work on previous add-in versions or it was only inherit from EPM on the settings?

Hello,

it was inherited and in the previous release restriction notes it was also mentioned that those are not supported. Check here: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2836266 (2002 release restriction note)

With the 2005 add-in version we removed all options that were not supported by IBP.

Hello,

we just moved it and centralized all settings in one window with 2005.
You can find it under Settings --> Options --> Fornatting Tab.

Hi Anna,

Thank you for the quick response.! 🙂 Unfortunately, under options, in the formatting tab I can see the hide rows option, but not the hide columns option.
