We have a need to start a heuristic in a future period. We copy the projected inventory from the period before our start period to stock on hand to ensure we have a starting inventory position. The issue we are seeing is with the calculated dependent location demand between two locations.
Here is an example to explain our situation:
Location 1 (manufacturing location) sends supply to Location 2 with a 4 week lead time. Location 2 has Dependent Customer Demand of the following: Week 1 - 100, Week 2 - 200, Week 3 - 300, Week 4 - 400 and Week 5 - 500. Week 1 in Location 1 is showing dependent location demand of 1,500 - instead of the expected 500. We do not want all dependent customer demand from Location 2, whose lead time would place it prior to the starting period in Location 1, to be summed up on Week 1 in Location 1.
Is there a setting in the S&OP Operator profile that would have this dependent location demand, which is being added to the starting period, to be "ignored"?

Thank you for your response - we had those parameters checked for the run when we received the "incorrect" results. We also tried with them unchecked without success.
