Handling unit type determination during putaway in EWM

Hello EWM experts,

I'm using embedded EWM 1809.

I have packed the material into a packaging material with HU type E1.

But during putaway, the system determines the HU type again as C1 and the putaway fails because C1 is not allowed in the destination storage type.

Could anyone tell me how this HU type C1 got determined when it should instead be E1?

Hi Tri Le Bao,

What is your HU type declared on the packaging material PALLET01. I think it should be "C1". In pack spec, HU type is defaulted (not created) by maintaining HU Type in Level in Pack spec structure

Yes, there is a pack spec.

I forgot to take it into account.
