Handling unit not created in EWM (S4H 1610) despite of HU packing exists in MM inbound delivery

Hello All,

I am trying to perform simple putaway in EWM (Unloading and Putaway). I created a inbound delivery reference to PO in MM. In VL31N, I packed the material into a packaging material (example Pallets). Inbound delivery was succesfully created and distributed to WMS system.

When I go to EWM system, and check the inbound delivery created in EWM for handling unit, it seems that handling units are not created in EWM.

Could you please provide some pointers in this regard?

Hello Sandeep,

Are you using SSCC numering for HUs in EWM? if not, make sure that for EWM packaging material type under the following setting the HU Number assignment is maintain as 'B' instead of A (SSCC)

EWM-->Cross Process Settings-->HU-->Maintain packaging material types
