Hello Experts,
We have a situation where handling unit number range got messed up.
Background: Warehouse X and Y connected to same ERP (we are on S4/HANA embedded EWM). Warehouse X received goods with HU 1 and completed putaway. Queue stuck with information that HU 1 already exist in transit stock. On doing further analysis, found that HU1 is already tagged to an outbound delivery for Warehouse Y.
They had different pack materials but same number range. I understand we will need to fix our number ranges for warehouse X and separate it out. But in the meantime so many queues are already stuck. 100's of them. How to fix them now?
I am thinking we need to bring ERP EWM stock in sync first so deregister queues and perform ADGI. Afterwards create a new delivery and post virtual GR with new number range. I will have to try out all these steps in the system. I am looking for guidance on two points-
1) Step by step information how I can fix the issue.
2) Is there any shortcut we can use, since we have so many queues already stuck now.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
If it is still possible, you can stop cancel GR, delete queues, repack HUs and post GR again.
Or you can change HU numbers in debugger, it is not so hard to do, at the end maybe faster as to do adgi/GRs
