Handling Resource in S/4 HANA

Hi Expert,

Can anyone help me to understand to set up "Handling Resouce in S/4 HANA setup"

1. How to create Handling Resource in S/4 HANA setup when //RES01 don't have the option to create

2. If we use CR01 what "Work Center Category we have to use

3. What is the important field we have to take care while creating a work centre in CR01 and it capacity view "APO Resource"--> Resource Category.

Just adding information here - to active report /SAPAPO/COPY_RESOURCE_HU following SAP Note required to implement in S4/ 1610. - 2531157

But, the question after this SAP Note implementation is -

Suggested program is to copy the Resource but to create the Handling Resource do we need to create using Work Center CR01 and capacity view "APO Resource"--> Resource Category H, as in //RES01 we don't have option to create a resource

Since the creation of Handling resource is confusing in S/4 environment, can you please suggest the correct steps.

Hello,

In work center CR01/CR02 you have to define Resource Category H. Then you can use the report /SAPAPO/COPY_RESOURCE_HU.

And in transaction code /SCMTMS/RES01 to display a handling resource.
