Hi Experts,
Am new to PPDS and in progress of learning it.
My client has reported following issue wherein, a HANDLING resource appears in RRP3 (Product View) and also shows up in PPDS Planning Board, but which is NOT included in Master Recipe anywhere. Issue is that, this Resource adds up 1hr from the actual Resource end time say 1pm, and ends up in false time as 2pm for the Process Order. It is marked with indicator as GOODS RECEIPT.
As far as i explored, i can see this HANDLING Resource is included in LOCATION under RESOURCE Inbound/Outbound. Can this be the Reason.
Kindly advise how to delink this Resource from scheduling the Process Order.
Regards,
Jeffrey
Request clarification before answering.
Handling resources are configured as Calendar Resources and hence it capacity is not utilized in scheduling. Kindly check your resource master configuration and in the 'APO Resource' tab identify the resource with the correct resource type. Also, refer to SAP documentation on calendar resource.
Next, resend the PDS with CURTOADV_CREATE with full transfer option.

Hi Kapoor,
Thanks for your prompt reply !!
I checked in Resource under "APO Resource" tab and yes it's Calendar Resource.
But my query is, as shown in attachment, in RRP3 - Product view, this resource appears as Goods receipt ticked "Handling Resource" and this GR (Days) and time gets added up to end time of Operation and thus leading to new End date & time. Business say, they are seeing this "Handling resource" just recently in RRP3. But in Material master i could see GR days maintained years back.
How can i make this Handling unit disappear or what might have caused this to appear to include in schedule. I can see it in Planning board graphical object as well.
Kindly advise.
Regards,
Jeffrey
