Hello, Gurus and Experts,
I am trying to follow the note 2494704 to setup the first EWM on our system which is S/4HANA 1709.
However, "Implementation Tool for System Connection" stops at the step 3 with an error "Assign logical system to client in ERP" and doesn't recognize the assigned logical system despite we defined it.
Could you possibly suggest me what is happening and where should I look at to solve this problem, please?

Dear Katrin,
Thank you very much for the answer and helpful advice...!
After posting the query, I tried to set the dummy logical system correctly on the transaction code SM59 following the help site below.
I successfully completed all the steps in the blog eventually with the help of a moderator.
https://blogs.sap.com/2018/01/08/basic-settings-for-sap-ewm-in-sap-s4hana-1709/
I'm very glad that I've successfully became a newbie in EWM field.
By the way, the moderator mentioned in the blog that "Before you could use the Best Practice business processes, you need to make the required configuration in the Building Blocks given in the prerequisites matrix for each scope item".
I'm looking for the additional details but yet to find them.
Thanks & regards,
Nobuko Saito

Hello Nobuko,
Have you assigned the logical system to the client (transaction SCC4)? Otherwise the implementation tool does not know which of hte defined logical systems (cross-client table) belongs to the local client.
Regards,
Katrin
