Gradient Boosting set-up to consider Holidays

Hi Team,

I have to setup Gradient Boosting forecast algorithm to consider Holidays and its imact of stat forecast

so can you please tell me how to set up holidays in Gradient Boosting

Hi Anil,

to consider holidays with Gradient Boosting you should create an holiday categorical key figure that represents the holidays both in the past and in the future (for example, you can use code 1 for Christmas, 2 for Easter etc) and then add this key figure as an independent variable in the model. If you want to see the impact of the holidays on the total forecast, than you can also have an impact key figure and turn on the "Analyse Impact on Forecast" feature.
